Our motivation

In 2009, Managing Director Bjørn Platou faced a hospital-acquired infection (HAI) that changed his perspective. After weeks of treatment, he came out with a clear goal: to use technology to fight and prevent infections. This vision led to the founding of Decon-X and the Decon-X Prevent program. Today, more than 300 healthcare institutions rely on our automated disinfection solutions to keep their spaces infection free.
